Margaret Jane Bonner Funeral Mass for Margaret Jane Bonner, age 78, of Watertown, SD will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church, Kimball, SD. Father Jerome Ranek will officiate. Margaret passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at her residence in Watertown, SD. She was the widow of Gerald “Bill” Bonner.

Burial will be in the St. Margaret’s Catholic Church Cemetery, Kimball, SD. Pallbearers will be: Travis Eatros, Jason Eatros, Pvt. Isaac Full, Andrew Full, Miranda Marshall, Danica Marshall, and Shona Marshall. Lector will be Don Reinesch. Music will be provided by Marge Husman, organist, and Abby Thiry, soloist.

Visitation will be in the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Watertown, SD on Thursday, July 5, 2007 from 5 to 8 p.m. with a Scripture Wake Service at 7 p.m. Father James Bream will officiate. Music will b provided by Peggy Biswell, organist, and Leann Maag and Pastor Jim Biswell, vocalists. Visitation will continue on Saturday preceding services at the church. The family is requested to meet at the church on Saturday by10:00 a.m. to attend services.

Margaret was born on December 1, 1928 at Kimball, SD to Frank and Margaret (Dimick) Kratochwill. She attended and graduated from Kimball High School in 1946. Following graduation, she attended Beauty School Academy in Watertown, SD.

Margaret married Bill Bonner on November 8, 1949 at Kimball, SD. They lived in several places throughout the United States, moving to Watertown, SD in 1974. Margaret worked at Mother of God Priory, New Hope, Home Connections, and at Prairie Lakes Hospital as a home health aid. She retired in 2001 and continued to assist in home health as a way of showing her compassion for people. After the death of her husband in 2004, she continued to make her home in Watertown.

Margaret was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Watertown, SD and a Minnesota State Officer in the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She was also a Watertown Extension Club Member. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

Margaret is survived by one son, Aaron Bonner of San Francisco, CA; three daughters: Debby and her husband, Jim Eatros of New Ulm, MN, Tina Full, and Marcie and her husband, Donn Pulfrey all of Watertown, SD; one brother, Gerald Kratochwill of Howard Lake, MN; two sisters: Mildred Dorwart of Kimball, SD and Lorraine Reese of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, her parents, one sister, and one brother.
