 Funeral services for Madeleine A. Jarman, age 84, of Watertown, SD will be at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 in the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Watertown, SD. Fr. James Bream will officiate. Madeleine passed away on July 7, 2007 at a care center in Watertown, SD.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Watertown, SD. Pallbearers will be: Jeff Stecker, Frank Stecker, Brian Shock, Rick Winter, Zach Winter, and Arnie Dornbush III. Visitation will be in the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Watertown, SD on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. with a Scripture Wake Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the chapel prior to the services on Wednesday. The family is requested to meet at the chapel on Wednesday by 9:00 a.m. to attend the services. Madeleine was born on April 29, 1923 in rural Roberts County, SD to Frank J. and Eleanor A. (Heninger) Buittner. She attended country schools. Madeleine started working in Watertown, SD first at Langenfelds Ice Cream, then Fashion City and Wise Shop as the manager. She later worked at Pamida and then Minnesota Rubber. She retired from Minnesota Rubber. Madeleine was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing bingo, baking, and sewing. She is survived by one son, David and his wife, Cathy Jarman, of Ft. Collins, CO; one daughter, Dianne Stecker of Watertown, SD; two brothers, Tony Buittner of Phoenix, AZ and Art Buittner of Watertown, SD; three sisters: Teresa and her husband, Eugene Czmowski, of Rapid City, SD, Isabella and her husband, Kenny Estum, of Renville, SD, and Marie Buittner of Rapid City, SD; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Madeleine was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. |
