 Memorial services for Mrs. Bob (Vivian M.) Angland, age 75, of Watertown, SD will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 in the Wesleyan Church, Watertown, SD. Rev. John McDonald and Pastor Dennis Wright will officiate. The family is requested to meet at the church on Tuesday by 10:00 a.m. for a prayer service. Vivian passed away on October 11, 2007 at a care center in Watertown, SD.
Crawford Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Vivian was born on March 26, 1932 at Chicago, IL to Garret and Mary (Mohr) Schreurs. She attended school in Chicago. Following high school, Vivian worked at Illinois Institute of Technology. Vivian married Bob Angland on August 24, 1951 at Chicago, IL. The couple moved to Bemis, SD in 1969. They lived there until moving to Watertown, SD in 1978. Vivian worked at the Plateau and Super 8. The couple moved to Arizona in 1985 where Vivian was an office manager for rental property. She also was the manager of Public Storage. The couple returned to South Dakota in 1992. Vivian was a member of the Watertown Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed crocheting afghans and gave many of them to women’s shelters, to the Ronald McDonald House, to the Wesleyan Church and to family members. She is survived by her husband, Bob, of Watertown, SD; one son, Robert, Jr. and his wife, Rita Angland, of Webster, SD; one brother, Walter Schreurs of Lansing, IL; one sister, Dorothy and her husband, John Krawczyk, of Lansing, IL, and five grandchildren. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Sandra. |
