Robert K. Dally Funeral services for Robert “Bob” K. Dally, age 87, of Watertown, SD will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Watertown. Rev. Andrew Schaller will officiate. Robert passed away on November 24, 2007 at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown.

Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Watertown, SD. Honorary pallbearers will be: Tom Solem, Dennis Fox, and Mark Sharkey. Active pallbearers will be Robert’s grandsons: Jeff Dally, Matthew Dally, Mike Millington, Mark Fox, Rick Fox, and Dallas Rasmussen. Music will be provided by Melanie Dummann, organist with congregational singing.

Visitation will be in the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Watertown, SD on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Wednesday preceding services at the church. The family is requested to meet at the church by 1:30 p.m. for a prayer service.

Robert was born on May 12, 1920 at Henry, SD to Frank and Laura (Lawrence) Dally. He attended school in Henry, SD.

Robert married Beulah Fink on May 18, 1946 at Montevideo, MN. The couple farmed in the Wallace and Henry, SD area until 1957, when they moved to Watertown. Robert then worked at Crest Chemical, Game Fish & Parks, Park Grant, Sioux Conifer Nursery, and the Codington County Highway Department. After retiring in 1985, he worked as a handy man around Watertown for awhile. He enjoyed his yard and garden and bowled for many years.

Robert is survived by his wife, Beulah Dally of Watertown, SD; two sons: Frank Dally of Watertown, SD and LeRoy Dally and Marcia of Eagan, MN; two daughters: Barbara and her husband, Dennis Fox, of Watertown, SD and JoAnn and her husband, Tom Solem, of Ft. Peck, MT; ten grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Bud, Earl, and Walt; two sisters: Dorothy and Edna; and two daughters-in law, Mary Dally and Lori Dally.
