Ryan L. Kolden Funeral services for Ryan Lee Kolden, age 19, of Clark, SD, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2008 in the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, Watertown. Rev. Wayne Gallipo will officiate. Music will be provided by A. J. Sherrill, organist and Tim Ries, soloist. Ryan passed away on Monday, July 21, 2008, near Aberdeen, SD.

Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery, rural Hayti, SD. Honorary pallbearers will be all of Ryan’s friends. Active pallbearers will be: Shane Patenode, James Pickrel, Rob Follum, Mike Follum, Jim Follum, Steve Hoaas, Brian Hoaas, and Gabe Thyne.

Visitation will be in the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Watertown, on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Friday prior to services in the church. The family is requested to meet in the church on Friday by 12:30 p.m. for a family prayer service.

Ryan was born on February 19, 1989 at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom, to Les and Sheri (Swenson) Kolden. He was baptized and confirmed in the Grace Lutheran Church at Watertown. Ryan graduated from Clark High School in 2007. He worked at various businesses around Watertown and was most recently employed by Dakota Pump and Control.

He was interested in pickups and cars and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Ryan truly enjoyed time spent with his family and friends, playing guitar and listening to music.

Ryan is survived by his parents: Sheri Dailey of Clark, SD and Les and his wife, Rona Kolden, of Watertown, SD; two brothers: Travis Dailey of Clark, SD and Gavin Kolden of Watertown, SD; four sisters: Nicole Heathcote of Florence, SD; Haley Kolden of Watertown, SD; and Allison Dailey and Ashley Dailey both of Clark, SD; a special aunt, Emily Pickrel, of Clark, SD; and his grandparents: Dale Swenson of Langford, SD; Lee and his wife, Alice Kolden, of Lake Preston, SD; Bill and his wife, Lori Reinschmidt and Joe and his wife, Ann Gauer, all of Ipswich, SD, and Mike and his wife, Bonnie Dailey, of Watertown, SD; and his girlfriend, Steffanie Mohror, of Leola, SD.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Lou Kolden; his maternal grandmother, Cheryle Swenson and his step-brother, Cody Dailey.
