 Memorial services for Peter M. Markegard, age 68, of Watertown, SD will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 in the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Watertown. Fr. Jerome Holtzman will officiate. Music will be provided by Erin Triplet. Peter passed away on Monday, August 11, 2008 at a hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Watertown. Honorary pallbearers will be Peter’s fellow employees from the Watertown Sanitation Department. There will be no visitation. Peter was born on March 20, 1940 at Watertown, SD to Merrill A. and Marie M. (Breske) Markegard. He attended and graduated from Waverly school. Peter moved to Watertown in 1966 and has been employed by the Watertown Sanitation Department for 32 years. He was a life-member of NRA. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. |
