Rita Ruth Ann (Mrs. Allen) Drovdal, age 55, of Florence, SD passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at her residence. At her request, there will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by Crawford Funeral Chapel, Watertown, SD.
Rita was born on December 29, 1952, in Jefferson, IA to Richard and Lois (Sayre) Woolsey. On March 6, 1989 Rita married Allen LeRoy Drovdal in Brookings, SD. She is survived by her husband, Allen, of Florence; two sons: John Choate and James Choate both of Eldora, IA; two brothers: Gary Woolsey of Hot Springs, SD and Mitchell Woolsey of Indianola, IA; four sisters: Vicky Wentzel of Hurley, SD, Debra Sorsen of Eagle Grove, IA, Roberta Newman of Ft. Dodge, IA, and Penny Rains of Knoxville, IA. Rita was preceded in death by two daughters: Connie Jo Choate on December 15, 1970 and Bobbie Jo Choate on May 28, 1972. |
