 Memorial services for Tyler David Berg, age 16, of Watertown, SD, will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2009, in the Cornerstone United Methodist Church, Watertown. Rev. Roger Spahr will officiate. Music will be provided by Sandy Dingsor, organist, and Jackie Wettestad, soloist. Tyler passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2009.
Visitation will be in the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Watertown, on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturday prior to services at the church. The family is requested to meet at the church on Saturday by 10:00 a.m. for a prayer service. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Kwasniewski, Tim Kwasniewski and family, Ronnie Kwasniewski. Amanda Pesall, Sarah Hamann, Steve Berg and Tara Meise, Jim Berg and family, Jodi and Jackie Jorgenson and family and Tyler’s hunting and fishing buddies. Tyler was born on July 29, 1992 at Watertown, SD to David and Stacy (Kwasniewski) Berg. He was a junior at Watertown High School and was currently employed at County Fair Foods. He had also worked for Burns Enterprises, The Tree Farm, and Lakeland Nurseries. Tyler enjoyed hunting, fishing, especially with his cousin, Bryce Jorgenson; snowmobiling; and training his hunting dog, Nickels. He especially enjoyed helping people. He will be remembered most for his smile, his personality, and love of life. Tyler is survived by his parents, David and Stacy Berg, one brother, Tanner Berg, and one sister, Tava Berg all of Watertown, SD; his paternal grandparents, Martin and Marlys Berg of Webster, SD; his maternal grandmother, Jan Kwasniewski, of Webster, SD, and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gerald Kwasniewski. |
