Doris was one of my instructors in the LPN class of 76-77 at LAVT, she was such a good teacher with a funny sense of humor, she taught Anatomy and we had loads of laughs in that class-I still remember her encouraging words each day to me , when we were taking our dreaded Fri am test she always walked behind me and gave my shoulders a sqeeze, she knew it was tough going back to school in your 30's and also having 7 kids at home.

Doris was my Aunt and she was one of the nicest people that I have ever met. She did so much for eveybody and was so thankful when you would do the smallest thing for her and/or Fritz. My husband and I came back home a few years ago and went to see them because they made every effort to see us when they came to Phoenix, even if it was just a stop over. She made us feel so special and loved. She always remembered our birthdays and would always let us know what was happening in the family. Sh
