Iver Possehl will officiate.  Music will be provided by Sharon Falk as organist with congregational singing.  Enid passed away on Monday, January 18, 2010, at a care center in Estelline, SD.  She was the widow of Harold E. Senkbeil.

Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Walter Township, rural Bellingham, MN.  Pallbearers will be Enid’s grandchildren: Michael Senkbeil, Timothy Senkbeil, Steve Weertz, Ryan Magedanz, Casey Magedanz, Kate Lind, Lisa Petersen, Laura Ruesch, and Colin Magedanz.

Enid was born on November 6, 1924, at Marietta, MN, to Frank and A. Fern (Marker) Wadleigh.  She lived in Marietta, MN, and was a graduate of Marietta High School.

On July 6, 1943, Enid married Harold Senkbeil at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walter Township, MN.  Enid farmed with her husband on the family farm until 1984 when they retired and moved to Ortonville, MN.  In 1989, they moved to Watertown where they resided at Sunchase Manor.  Harold passed away on September 12, 1997, and Enid continued to live at Sunchase until moving to Stoneybrook Suites in November of 2008, and one year later she entered the Estelline Nursing and Care Center in November of 2009.

She was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church and a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Walter Township.  She was also a member of the Sweet Adelines and the Town Walter Homemaker Club.  Enid enjoyed crocheting, knitting, making gifts for her family, and spending time with her friends, which she made easily.  She also enjoyed time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Enid is survived by three children: Rev. Harold (Jane) Senkbeil of Milwaukee, WI, Mary (Eugene) Weerts of Bancroft, SD, and Beverly (Craig) Magedanz of Clear Lake, SD; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and one brother.

It is never easy to lose a parent. My sympathy to your family as you go through this difficult week.
(I was a high school classmate of Harold, and learned of your mother's passing through my brother George.)

My deepest sympathies to you and your families upon the loss of Enid. I remember her and Harold as a child growing up in Bellingham and Town Walter Church and also when they lived in Ortonville. You will truly miss her. My thoughts are with you.

I have been thinking of you all this week. It's been a tough 6 weeks for us all, but we know that she is with Harold in heaven. I will cherish the memories of her, as she was a wonderful woman. Love to all of you
