I have only a few short memories of both Henry and Marie. They had visited our family in Olympia and I remember going to visit them in Watertown as a kid. They were fun and loving, but what I remember most is how my mom, Phyllis, remembers them...they were very close to her heart. Marie was a Special lady to me. She and her husband were neighbors of our family when they lived on the farm. Her daughter Mavis and I have been friends since third grade. Many special memories of Marie when I would stay overnight at their home.
When my father had a corn picker accident and in the hospital, Marie helped our family in many ways.
Often when I would go to Watertown to visit my Mother and Father, I would try to stop at their home in Watertown and say "Hello" and have a cup
