She was a member of the Watertown Wesleyan Church for many years and most recently, Cornerstone United Methodist Church.  Jeanelle loved singing many of the old hymns and found great peace in prayer.

Greetings again to Leonard, Barb and family. Jeanelle's funeral was a real testimony to the Child-like love which Jeanelle shared with everyone around her. May we each share some of that with others we know and care about. I am Leonard's youngest Blain cousin. But, somewhere in the middle as far as the Anson cousins are. Love and Prayers for you all.

I remember the first time I met Jeanelle. She told me I was her newest best friend. I asked her if she had a lot of best friends. She assured me she did. I could tell by her generous and loving spirit why she would have a LOT of best friends. I know you miss her. I also have full confidence you will see her again. Love to both of you. Emily

My heartfelt condolences to Barb and Leonard, and the rest of the Blain family. Jeanelle was such a beautiful person - her smile and hugs were unlike anything else. No matter how infrequent I saw her over the years, she still was my 'buddy', and could always make me blush with her sense of humor. Thank you for all the memories, Jeanelle!

I am so blessed to have met Jeanelle. I will never forget the first day Imet her she told me how beautiful I was and that she knew she loved me. I will never forget how she smiled and how she loved everyone. Jeanelle was so brave. She would tell me that she was not afraid and that she was at peace with everything. Jeanelles passion for life and her family made her even more beautiful then she already was. I enjoyed my time with her even though it was not nearly long enough. Leonard and Barb, Tha

Leonard, Barb, Jeanelle, and family have been such a big part of our lives. Through the many years of providing daycare for our kids, Austin, Evan and Emily, Jeanelle has been there throughout each of their lives. Jeanelle would always brighten ones day when you'd be there in the morning and the evening. I know she cared for our kids as much as Barb and Leonard have. We appreciate Jeanelle's loving spirit and kind words that she shared with us over and over again. What a gem! Jeanelle wi

What a blessing to leave a note to remember Janelle. I am one of the oldest cousins. I haven't seen Janelle very many times and life has taken me to Idaho to limit our contact for many years. All that saying,I just wanted to let all of you know that I was her "favorite cousin." A few weeks ago she told me that again and I asked if she told all of her cousins that and she said. "Oh Donald you know you are my favorite cousin." I will miss you Janelle and I

Jeanellle and the Blain family are great friends, day care providers and overall a great family. We lived across the street from them for 18 years. She was always smiling everywhere she went and taught my kids how to live life to the fullest. She taught them how to treat and respect people even though she had no idea what she was teaching them. Everyone deserves to have a Jeanelle in their lives and know the true meaning of friendship. Sympathy and love to the Blain family!

To the family of Janelle,

I was shocked to hear that Janelle had passed. I was at a clients home today when I heard it and I had to find out if it was true. I am so sorry to all of her family. I will never forget the way she would light up a room and always would say hi pretty lady or call you beautiful even if you looked your worse. Lennie and Family,
You are in our prayers at this time of your loss. Someone once said," you know when someone has made a deep impact in your life when they are gone and you feel the loss". I'm sure you are feeling the loss of Jeanelle because of the impact she made in your life. Truly, one day you will be reunited and spend eternity together. May the Lord comfort you. Stephen & Carol

I am honored to be Jeanelle's Mom! We are so thankful we had 2 months to prepare Jeanelle. I find comfort in her saying she wasn't worried because Jesus was taking care of her. I can see Jeanelle meeting all of the people of the Bible whose stories she loved! She is just glowing with hapiness! Jeanelle said we were "partners" and "on the same team". How cool is that? She leaves a great void in our lives, but we'll be together again!!

Words cannot explain just how special Jeanelle is to me. She taught me and my family what true love and friendship is all about. Jeanelle loved everyone. She was a great example to my children. I'll never forget how beautiful she looked at Bill and Jill's wedding. She was such a proud bridesmaid. Bill, I've watched over the years how proud of a big brother you were. Jeanelle always looked forward to you coming home and taking her to her favorite places. I will miss her hugs and laughter.

She got too big to sit on my lap, but she always let me know she wanted to! We will be praying for you. We will look forward to seeing your precious daughter in Heaven. Leonard and Barb and family,
Wayne and I were so sorry to hear of your loss. I have always loved talking to Janelle and got such a thrill that she never forgot me in all these years. I used to work with her at ATCO and I always looked so forward to hearing about her day. Even after I left the agency if I ran into her with Leonard out and about or at the shop at Stromseth, even the clinic she would give me the greatest hug. I will miss those. I am happy she did not suffer and is with God now.

See loved family and friends and always had hugs. I'm so glad I got to spend the last few days with you Jeanelle! I hope you know how much you will be missed; but am happy that you no longer have to know pain! Love You!!

I first met Jeanelle a few years ago during a visit to Watertown. Since that first meeting I had the privilege of seeing her multiple times on subsequent visits.

Each time I saw her she had several gifts for me. At the time of our first meeting she noticed that I was chewing a piece of gum and questioned me about it. Satisfied with my explaination, from that time forward she made it a point to share with me - not just a piece or two but - entire packages of her gum.

In addition to gum

Barb, Leonard, Bill & Len, you have our deepest sympathy. Jeanelle was a very special lady to us. We will always remember her hugs and common quotes such as "Hey there handsome" & "Hi pretty lady". She had a good sense of humor and many nick-names for Dylan like "Dilly Bobber" & "Trouble". Dylan will never forget all the times he spent with Jeanelle when he was little and only Jeanelle could put his coat on! We will miss her dearly and cherish the memories forever.

If it was not for Barb's Daycare, I am not sure we would of ever had the chance to meet the Most Beautiful, Loving Person -JEANELLE! I think about her often and it always brings a smile to my face. I am sooo... sorry for your loss. Janelle touched a lot of lives, the Love of the Lord was upon her. I only wish I could have met her when you came to Minnesota for ministry. She is at the right hand of Jesus and knowing that I hope brings great peace to both of you. It's been a long haul for all and it's not over for any of us until the Father calls us home.
