Memorial services for Robert M. Angland, Sr., age 80, of Watertown, SD, will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at Evangelical Wesleyan Church, rural Watertown. Pastor John MacDonald will officiate. Robert passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at a hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Engels, Doug Engels, Jr. Vande Zande, and Scott Ruby. The family is requested to meet at the church on Tuesday by 10:00 a.m. to attend the services. Arrangements are being handled by Crawford Funeral Chapel of Watertown. Robert was born on February 21, 1930, in Chicago, IL, to John and Mary Angland. He attended school in Chicago. After graduation, he worked for Ford Motor Company. On August 24, 1951, Robert married Vivian Schreurs in Chicago, IL. The couple moved to Bemis, SD, in 1969 and Robert worked for Minnesota Rubber in Watertown. In 1978, the couple moved into Watertown and Robert continued to work for Minnesota Rubber until retiring in 1985. They then moved to Arizona and lived there until returning to Watertown in 1992. Robert enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, cooking, and shopping. He is survived by one son, Robert, Jr., of Watertown, SD, and two grandchildren: Robert W. Angland and Monique M. Angland. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, in 2007; his parents; and one brother, Tim.

Bob will me missed by a lot of people. He was a wonderful man, I really enjoed talking to him. If you need anything just let me know.
