Lois Ann Brist Mar 11 1953 - Jul 13 2011 |

Funeral services for Lois Ann (Mrs. Timothy) Brist, age 58, of Watertown, SD, will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Watertown Wesleyan Church in Watertown. Pastor Jim Biswell will officiate. Music will be provided by Peggy Biswell. Lois passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at her residence. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Watertown. Honorary pallbearers will be Lois’ grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be: Zach Brist, Jordan Brist, Troy Fisher, Chad Fisher, Nathan Geist, Lindsey Geist, and Angie Fisher. Visitation will be at the Crawford Funeral Chapel on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and prior to services at the church on Saturday. The family is requested to meet at the church on Saturday by 10:00 a.m. for a prayer service. Lois was born on March 11, 1953, at Watertown, SD, to Lyle and Betty (Cohoon) TeBeest. She attended Watertown schools. On October 3, 1970, Lois married Timothy Brist at Watertown, SD. The couple made their home in Watertown where Lois ran a daycare business and worked at Jenkins Living Center. She enjoyed crocheting, scrapbooking, playing cards, planting flowers, working puzzles, and using the computer. She also enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family, especially with her daughter. Lois is survived by her husband, Timothy, of Watertown; her children: Travis (Gina) Brist of Aberdeen, SD, and Todd (Jennifer) Brist and Trista Brist all of Watertown, SD; five grandchildren: Tyson, Abby, Tomas, Allison, and Emma; and two sisters: Brenda (Roger) Fisher and Ronda Hanson all of Watertown, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard TeBeest. |

| Dear Family of Lois, I am so very sorry for your loss of your dear wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. Brenda and Lois both cared for my children when we lived in Watertown. The children were so happy to be cared for by them, and also their mother, Betty, who would many times, offer to take over whenever the girls were not available to do so. I was so very grateful for these wonderful girls and also their Mom. I'm sure Ronda helped with them when the children were at their home. I was h |

| I just can't believe she's gone. I will never forget the times I got to hang out with her and the family!!! I'm very honored that I got the chance to meet such a wonderful woman and I will never forget her!! R.I.P Ma!!!! I love you soo much and I miss you terribly!
