Lyle Avant will officiate.  Music will be provided by Lesa Dahl as organist and Stacie Skaff as pianist.  Gayle passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at her residence.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Watertown, SD.  Pallbearers will be:  Arnie Satterlee, Robert Satterlee, Dennis Satterlee, Lowell Satterlee, James Satterlee, Tom Skaff, and Troy Langer.

Visitation will be at Crawford Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and in the church on Monday prior to the services.  The family is requested to meet at the church on Monday by 9:30 a.m. for a prayer service.

Memorials may be directed to Prairie Lakes Hospice in Watertown.

Gayle was born on September 6, 1947 in Luverne, MN to Alvin and Verla  (Noll) Ringen.  The family moved to Sioux Falls and Gayle graduated from Washington High School in 1965.  She attended USD in Vermillion, SD for one year.

Gayle enjoyed quilting, cross stitching, sewing, and making coloring book bags for young children who were patients at the University of Minnesota Cancer Treatment Center.  She especially enjoyed traveling and visiting with family and friends.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church and was an avid Minnesota Twins fan.  Christmas was a special time for Gayle.  She kept the Christmas spirit for the entire year as she had a Christmas room in her home.

Dear Terry and family,
We are so very sorry for your loss. David always thinks of you and Gayle as among his oldest and best friends. As for me, you two were my first friends in Sioux Falls, and the memories of fun times we had together are very dear. We will always remember Gayle, her warmth, and her beautiful eyes. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers and trust that God will strengthen and comfort you.

Our forever friendship as you guys did your police work (as well as other things!!) and the time Gayle and I spent enjoying our kids play together as they grew up. Terry, I was just thinking about Gayle last week, thinking she should be about due for a haircut. I was so sad to read in the paper tonight that she had passed away. I enjoyed her so much! You were very lucky to have such a wonderful wife, and I know she was the best Grandma ever, and so proud of her kids. I will always have great memories of her! I will be praying for your family. One of my favorite quotes is...Never put a question mark, where God puts a period. Take care, Cami
