Kevin Anderson Jun 09 1966 - Nov 08 2011 |

 Funeral services for Kevin Anderson, age 45, of Wallace, SD, will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Wallace. Pastor Scott Dempster will officiate. Music will be provided by Dorothy Anderson, organist, and Steve Meland, soloist. Kevin passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at Golden LivingCenter in Clark, SD. Burial will be at St. Pauli Cemetery, rural Wallace. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jim Stoudt, Al Zweig, Steve Dutenhoffer, and the workers at the Wallace Elevator. Active pallbearers will be: Brad Nelson, Tim Sprung, B. J. Snell, Bryan Nelson, Kevin Hagen, and Bill Hagen. Visitation will be at Crawford Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Friday from 4-7 p.m. and in the church on Saturday prior to the services. Kevin was born on June 9, 1966, in Watertown, SD. He grew up on his parent’s (Merlin and Barbara Hagen) farm. He graduated from Webster High School in 1986. He started farming with his parents and continued to farm with them until he passed away. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Wallace. He was a fireman with the Wallace Volunteer Fire Department, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved dogs. Kevin enjoyed people and especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephew. He is survived by his parents, Merlin and Barbara Hagen, of Wallace, SD; two sisters: Brenda (Russ) Crawford, of Tea, SD, and Karla (Ryan) Claussen, of Clark, SD; and nieces and nephew: Taija, Janai, and Bryce “Bubba” Crawford. Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents: Elmer (Lillian) Meisenheimer and Myer (Thea) Hagen. |

| So sorry to hear about Kevin's passing. I have been out of the watertown area about 6 years but still remember Merlin and Kevin coming into my store (Mac's) and giving me a hard time. I always had a blast with both of you. What a wonderful personality. He will be missed. You all take care! |

| I am sorry to hear about the passing of Kevin. I only recently met Kevin while working with crop insurance but I enjoyed the afternoon I spent working with him. He impressed me as a fine young man. |
