Harvey E. Seidell Nov 04 1970 - Jul 04 2012
Harvey E. Seidell, age 41, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at the hospital in Watertown. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church in Watertown. Rev. Sara Nelson and Pastor Jim Biswell will officiate. Music will be provided by Pastor Jim and Peggy Biswell. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Watertown. Honorary pallbearers will be Harvey’s nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be: Todd Stark, Cory Block, Steve Moss, Bill Gaikowski, Troy Chrtt, and Loren Lien. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Chapel in Watertown and in the church on Monday prior to the services. Harvey was born on November 4, 1970 in Milbank, SD to Edmund and Carolina (Butzin) Seidell. He attended grade school in Big Stone City, SD and graduated from high school in Ortonville, MN. After graduation, he moved to Watertown and worked construction. On May 6, 1995, Harvey married Tonia Engels in Watertown. Together they raised their family of three children. Harvey was currently employed at Dakota Bodies in Watertown. He loved fishing, trapping, darts, and bowling. Harvey especially enjoyed being with his family. He is survived by his wife, Tonia, of Watertown, SD; three children: Dominick (Kasie) Seidell, Destiny Seidell and Danicka Seidell all of Watertown, SD; his mother, Carolina Seidell of Watertown, SD; two brothers: Brad (Jodi) Seidell of Watertown, SD and Ritchie (Lori) Seidell of Big Stone City, SD; two sisters: Penny (Rich) Kelzer and Peggy (Terry) VanHorn all of Brookings, SD; his maternal grandparents, Herbert and Pearl Butzin of Revillo, SD; his father in-law and mother in-law, Calvin and Patti Engels of Watertown, SD; sisters-in-law, Rachel (Steve) Swenson of Brownsburg, IN; and Jessica Engels (special friend, Jon Chapman) of Watertown, SD. Harvey was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Brian; and his paternal grandparents.
