Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Clear Lake, SD. Pallbearers will be Adaline's grandchildren: Melonie and John Mulligan, Toran and Crissy Kopren, Clint and Ashley Bohnet, Jed and Dana Kopren, Karan and Josh Lemburg, Bobbi Jo Bohnet and Kortney and Chris Seidel.

Adaline was born on November 14, 1924, to Bernard and Jennie (Fuhrman) Knodel on a farm near Chaseley, ND.

She attended Chaseley school for 10 years.

At age 16, she moved with her family to a farm near Hurdsfield, ND, and started working at a local café.

Adaline moved to Chicago, IL, in 1943 and worked at Douglas Aircraft attaching tails on to planes. In 1945, after World War II ended, she moved back to Hurdsfield and worked at the café.

Adaline married Benjamin Bohnet on February 11, 1947.

To this union, three children were born, Terry, Marvin and Arla. They lived and farmed north of Hurdsfield.

After the death of Bennie in November of 1958, Adaline moved the family into Hurdsfield then to Carrington, ND, and returned to waitressing.

While living in Carrington, Adaline met Howard Wiesner.

They were married on February 28, 1963. Howard's work took them to Prescott, AZ.

In 1966, they moved to Bison, SD.

While living in Bison, Adaline worked part time at the grocery store, cutting and wrapping meat.

She also planted trees for the conservation district. In 1976, Howard's job took them to Burke, SD.

Then they moved to Hayti, SD, in 1982.

Adaline also worked for the conservation district there, planting trees. She continued to live in Hayti after Howard passed away in March of 1996.

In February, 2011, she moved to StoneyBrook Assisted Living in Watertown, SD, then to Jenkins Living Center in February, 2016.

She was a member of the Hayti Lutheran Church and the Royal Neighbors of America. In her earlier years, Adaline sewed many outfits for herself and her children.

She also enjoyed square dancing and bowling.

However, her passion was knitting.

She made about everything possible from afghans to doll outfits, baby sweaters and christening gowns to socks and scarves.

If you stopped by to visit, you would most likely find her in her chair knitting.

She enjoyed gardening, making jellies and growing flowers.

She had beautiful climbing red roses in Prescott and lovely peonies in Hayti. Adaline loved to play cards.

She also enjoyed visiting family and friends and traveled through many of the 50 states.

Adaline is survived by her sons, Terry (Linda) Bohnet of Vale, SD, Marvin (Lore) Bohnet of Hazel, SD; daughter, Arla (Dale) Kopren, of Meadow, SD; step-children: David Wiesner of Brookings, SD, Dallas (Priscilla) Wiesner of Pleasant Prairie, WI, and Diane (Wes) Schick of Littleton, CO; seven grandchildren: Melonie (John) Mulligan of
