Brad Stidams Obituary
Brad Stidams, age 61, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at the local hospital in Watertown. At Brad's request, there will be no services.
Brad was born on June 8, 1955, in Goshen, IN, to Delbert and Tilda (Davidson) Stidams. He was a truck driver for many years. Brad also owned Lakeside Labs, where he bred dogs for several years. He thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Brad was never a stranger to anyone, always befriending those he met. Above all else was his love for his family. After the passing of his father, Brad became the father figure of the family, always taking care of everyone.
Brad is survived by his children: Justin Stidams of Huntington, IN, Bradlee (Kristine) Stidams of Larwill, IN, and Amy (Jason) Bogart of North Webster, IN; six grandchildren; six brothers: Joe (Mary) Stidams of West Monroe, LA, Don (Sandy) Stidams of Columbus, OH, George (JoAnn) Stidams of North Webster, IN, Wayne (Tracy) Stidams, and Dale (Sherry) Stidams, both of Watertown, SD, and Rex (Buren) Powell of Monticello, ND; three sisters: Louise Wakely of Goshen, IN, Pat (Kevin) Koher of Pierceton, IN and Billie May of Pierceton, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Carl, Jim, Delbert Jr. and Mark; and three sisters: Marie Powell, Vannie Swihart and Kellie Richards.
