Kevon Graslie Obituary
Kevon Jon Graslie, age 57, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at his residence, of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2015, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Rev. Gary Westgaard will officiate.
Visitation will be at the chapel prior to services.
Burial will take place at a later date.
Kevon was born on December 9, 1957, in Watertown, SD, to Alvin and Lucille Graslie. He was a life-long resident of Watertown, where he graduated from Watertown High School in 1976. Kevon attended Anoka Technical College and earned a degree in Landscape Design and a degree in Biology and Chemistry from South Dakota State University. He played in numerous bands and taught voice and guitar lessons to aspiring musicians. Kevon was also a compassionate caregiver to both of his parents. He will be remembered as a talented artist and musician and for his love of life, family and friends.
Kevon is survived by his life-companion, Connie Kieso, of Watertown; his brother, Bruce (Nancy) Graslie, of Tucson, AZ; his sisters: Phylis (Orin) Melius of Faulkton, SD, and Kay Friesen, of Omaha, NE; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
