Kip Heninger Obituary
Kip Heninger, age 50, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at the local hospital. Memorial services will be held at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. Stan Lamb will officiate. Music will be provided by Janice Anderson as Pianist and Pam Taylor as soloist.
There will be no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown, SD.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Watertown. Honorary pallbearers will be his friends at Human Service Agency in Watertown.
Kip was born on September 9, 1965, to Clayne and Irene (Oliverson) Heninger in Albuquerque, NM. He graduated in 1984 from Rio Grand High School in Albuquerque. Kip moved to Watertown where he helped on his uncle's acreage. Soon after, he became involved with the Human Service Agency where he worked for a short time. Kip also worked at H & B Trucking through the agency.
He was heavily involved in Special Olympics, including swimming, track, baseball and basketball. Kip thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his Human Service Agency family.
Kip is survived by his parents; two brothers, Eric (Keely) Heninger, of South Weber, UT, and Travis Heninger, of Albuquerque, NM; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Heather Burke; his grandparents; one aunt, Willa Mae Oliverson; and one uncle, Dirk Oliverson.
