Marian Fiebelkorn Obituary
Marian A. Fiebelkorn, age 93, of Florence, SD, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at the local hospital. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown, SD. Pastor Janet Miller will officiate. The family is requested to meet at the chapel by 10:00 a.m. for a family prayer service.
Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Wednesday prior to services.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Watertown. Active pallbearers will be: Wayne Fiebelkorn, Lonnie Fiebelkorn, Richard Bradberry, Ray Bradberry, Lester Nelson and Rob Fjerstad.
Marian was born on August 5, 1923, to Max and Ida (Abraham) Fiebelkorn Sr. in Summit, SD. After attending school, she began working at various cafes. Marian later worked at Watertown Monument Works and Minnesota Rubber in Watertown. She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo.
Marian especially loved visiting with all of her many friends over the years. She was also known as an excellent cook.
Marian is survived by her brother, Lawrence "Larry" (Betty) Fiebelkorn of Watertown, SD; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers: Bill, Ernie, Reuben and Max Fiebelkorn; five sisters: Ellfie Nelson, Hulda Ross, Elisabeth Nelson, Ella Kettlehut and Luci Bradberry; and her special friend, Clarence Kasperson.
