Raymond D. "Ray" Rylance

Mrs. Rylance, i hope you get this, i just came across the Captains Obituary. He was a great guy, i'm Sgt. Peery, and had the pleasure of working for him for awhile in Okinawa, and then we were both at El Toro, upon return. he was a great guy and treated me well, overseas, i'm afraid i was a challenge for him at first. but i really liked him. my sincere condolences. if you do get this, would you please email me and let me know. again, so sorry he's gone.

remembering ray this week we always celebrated his birthday...he became an advocate and attorney for my boys and I more than 20 years ago during a divorce accompanied with protective orders and subsequent protection proceedings. over the years my boys grew to call him grandpa ray and I called him dad. he would say I was the daughter he thanked God he NEVER had. :) we adored and appreciated him so much. ?
