Roylin D. Hall, age 59, of Watertown, SD passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014, at a care center in Clark, SD.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Crawford Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Pastor Luke Smith will officiate.
Honorary pallbearers will be:
Aaron Marotz, Jay DeWeerdt, Allen Schanbeck, Tory VanderEsch, and Wayne Wittrock. The family is requested to meet at the chapel on Tuesday by 10:30 a.m. for a prayer service.
Visitation will be at Crawford Funeral Chapel on Monday from 4-7 p.m. and will continue on Tuesday at the chapel prior to the services.
Roylin was born on January 11, 1955, in Gettysburg, SD to Walter Dale and Cleopha (Zimmerman) Hall.
He attended school in Gettysburg.
He then moved to Redfield, SD where he worked at the State Training School.
He married Robin Olson on April 18, 1987 in Watertown.
The couple moved to Aberdeen, SD where he worked on the WEB rural water line.
Roylin moved back to Watertown where he worked at Metz Baking Company, CSS Farms, and later Oak Valley Farms.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge.
Roylin enjoyed dirt track racing, square dancing, and watching his kids playing softball.
He also enjoyed visiting friends at the Dakota Sioux Casino, playing pool, and bowling.
Roylin is survived by his children:
Kelly (Nathan) Lefler of Rigby, ID, Ryan Hall and Shayla (Spencer) Sorensen all of Watertown, SD; six grandchildren:
Courtney, Calvin, Kyle, Landyn, Delaynee, and Jayda; two brothers: Perry (Jean) Hall and Robin Hall all of Arizona; and two sisters:
Lana (Melvin) Holzwarth of Gettysburg, SD and Joann (Peter) Stoddard of Huber Heights, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
