Abigail “Abby” Anne Coyle, age 42, of Billings, MT, formerly of Strandburg, SD, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019, at her residence. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel. Fr. Denis Meier will officiate. Music will be provided by Joan Lohrman as organist. The family is requested to meet by 10:30 a.m. for a family prayer service.
Visitation will be prior to the service, starting at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in the spring at the Goodwin Cemetery.
Abigail “Abby” was born on April 18, 1977, in Wheaton, IL. She was the daughter of Duane “Buck” and Suzanne (Charbonneau) Jacobson. She was raised on the family farm in Strandburg, SD. Abby was a 1995 graduate of Grant-Deuel High School in Revillo, SD, where she excelled in academics and basketball, graduating with honors. She was united in marriage to Jamie Frentz and to this union their daughter, Suzanne “Suzie” Michelle Frentz was born. Abby worked at various places in Watertown over the years and was later married to Brad Coyle. To this union their daughter, Alexis “Lexi” Anne Coyle was born and they moved to Billings, MT. For the past 6 years she was the night supervisor at the IGA Supermarket. Abby loved the Pittsburgh Steelers. She enjoyed watching sports on TV, especially women’s basketball. Abby loved her job and her “family” at IGA. Her very special moments were spent with her family and her dog, Amos.
Abby is survived by her husband, Brad, of Billings, MT; her daughters, Suzanne “Suzie” Frentz of Watertown, SD and Alexis “Lexi” Coyle of Billings, MT; her father and step-mother, Duane “Buck” (Deb) Jacobson of Watertown, SD; her sister, Rachael Jacobson of Hartford, SD; her step-brother, Dave Chell of Austin, TX; her nephew, Colin Schiefelbein; three step-children: Sydney, Tristan and Justice Coyle; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Suzanne Jacobson; her brother, Jacob Jacobson; her grandparents; her nephew, Seth Lauseng; and her nephew, Tyler.
The family requests that any memorials be made to the Suzanne Jacobson Memorial Fund in care of Prairie Lakes Healthcare Foundation.
