Jamie was born on September 16, 1954, to Weldon and Luella (Vostad) Isaacson in Huron, SD. He attended school in Lake Preston, graduating in 1973. While attending high school he worked on the family farm and a local implement dealer.
On February 26, 1977, Jamie was united in marriage to Caryn Keiser in Lake Preston, SD. They made their home in Watertown as he started working for Terex on March 7, 1977. Starting as an assembler, working towards supervisory positions and currently as a National Service Technician, these were a few of his accomplishments throughout his distinguished career.
He was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. Jamie was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, having a special bond with each of his grandchildren. He would do just about anything for anyone. Jamie was patient and kind, quiet and funny, when you could actually get him to talk. He was smart and could fix about anything you needed him to, and also an animal lover, especially dogs. When he found something he was interested in he was all in from fishing, camping, riding motorcycles, golfing or just projects around the house.
Jamie is survived by his wife, Caryn, of Watertown, SD; his children; Jennifer (Brian) Harms of Watertown, SD and Stacey (Aaron) Rost of Florence, SD; six grandchildren: Brandon and Zachary Rost, Dylan Schaible, William and Amelia Harms and Alyssa Harms (fiancé Caleb McGuire); one great-grandson, Cayson McGuire; three brothers: Kevin Isaacson of Huron, SD, Randy (Pam) Isaacson of Wichita, KS, and Loren Isaacson of Sioux Falls, SD; two sisters: Karen (Phil) Leuning of Arco, MN and Willa (Jim) Lolling of Lake Preston, SD; his mother-in-law, Arlene (Dwaine) Nelson of Sinai, SD; and his step-mother-in-law, Donna Keiser of Bruce, SD.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Wayne; his father-in-law, Johnny Keiser; and his sister-in-law, Yvonne Isaacson.
