Kenneth Tassler Obituary
Kenneth A. Tassler, age 64, of Britton, SD, formerly Watertown, SD, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at the hospital in Britton. A private family graveside service will be held.
Kenneth was born on October 16, 1954, to Forrest "Bud" and Valesta (Purintun) Tassler, in Watertown, SD. He received his GED while stationed in the U.S. Navy. After his honorable discharge Kenneth married Amanda's mother, Audrey Weber. His grandson, Bronx, was the light of his life. Kenneth was a gentle giant. He loved hunting and fishing with his brother, Gene and all of his family. Kenneth and his family were written in an article in the National Magazine about him and his father and brother's trap shooting team with a traveling trophy. Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Chris) Piechocniski of Denver, CO; one grandson, Bronx; his brother, William "Bill" Tassler of Tacoma, WA; two sisters: Virginia (Jim) Burdick of St. Charles, MO and Sandi Ward of Reno, NV; and two sisters-in-law, Wendy Tassler of Sioux Falls, SD, and Joyce Tassler of Red Bluff, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gene and Randy.
