Lyle Henricks Obituary
Lyle L. Henricks, age 84, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017, at his residence. Private family services were held, per Lyle's wishes.
Lyle was born on May 14, 1933, to Henry and Rose (Randolph) Henricks in Watertown. He attended Rauville country grade school and graduated from Waverly High School in 1951. Following graduation, Lyle was drafted into the U.S. Army, where he served stateside in Texas and Washington. He was honorably discharged in 1955.
On September 21, 1956, Lyle was united in marriage to Beverly Madsen in Watertown. During his lifetime, he enjoyed his roles participating in the SD Flying Farmers Association, the Watertown Coop Elevator Board, the USB Soybean Board and the Rauville Township Board. Lyle was a member of St. Martins Lutheran Church and also served on the Bethlehem Church Council Board.
Lyle is survived by his wife, Beverly, of Watertown; his two sons, Alen Henricks and Bret (Karen) Henricks, both of Watertown; six grandchildren: Scott (Kelli) Henricks, Kristine (Zach) Beutow, Mark (Beth) Henricks, Jennifer (Robert) Smit, John Henricks and Elizabeth (Justin) Bach, all of Watertown; one great-grandchild, Evan Henricks; and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Sharon Olerud and Sandra Kranz.
