Nancy Ann (Shepherd) Hauck, age 57, of Clear Lake, SD, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. Rev. Kent Stillson will officiate. Music will be provided by A.J. Sherrill as organist with Robbyn Givens as soloist. The family is requested to meet at the church by 10:00 a.m. for a family prayer service.
Visitation will be at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. and also prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Arrangements by Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be at the Gary Cemetery at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, the staff of the Boys & Girls Club of Watertown and the Children of the Boys & Girls Club. Active pallbearers will be: Brandon Johnson, Louis Canfield, Scott Schwab, Matt Schwab, Kris Schwab and Jesse Stricherz.
Nancy was born on September 17, 1962, to Jessie and Jane (Fredrickson) Shepherd, in Clear Lake. She was a graduate of Clear Lake High School. After graduating, Nancy worked at the F&M Bank, she was a Security Guard at Dakota Sioux Casino, and for 19 years Nancy worked at the Boys & Girls Club. Nancy's hobbies were doing crafts, hunting, photography, reading and her small animal hobby farm.
Nancy is survived by her children, Jesse (Rachel) Hauck of Watertown, SD and Rachelle Johnson of Watertown, SD; six grandchildren: Aubrey, Kasen, Kyndal, Avery, Haevyn and Amiri; her significant other, Stephen Giese of Clear Lake, SD; and her sisters, Sandy Shepherd Meaney of Aberdeen, SD and Kathy (Gale) Larson of DeSmet, SD.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents.
