Patricia Burger Obituary
Patricia A. "Pat" Burger, age 70, of Henry, SD, formerly Becker, MN, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017, at a care center in Watertown, SD.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 26, 2017, at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Becker, MN. Fr. Mike Kellogg will officiate. Arrangements are being handled by the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown, SD.
Pat was born on May 12, 1947, in Watertown, SD, to Harvey and Fern (Miller) Kumm.
She graduated from Watertown High School in 1965.
Following graduation, Pat moved to Isanti, MN, where she met Tom Burger. The couple married on June 14, 1986, in Minnesota.
She spent 21 years of her life doing factory work at Unisys. Upon retirement, Tom and Pat moved to Kingman, AZ.
Due to Tom's health they moved to Becker, MN.
He passed away September 12, 2008. In 2016, Pat moved to Henry, SD, to be closer to her family.
She was a member of Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church and the Sr. Citizen's Center in Becker, MN. Pat had a strong love for animals, especially her dogs, ‘Tutu' and ‘Bumpie', horses and cats.
She loved flowers and spending time in the garden.
Later in life, Pat developed a special interest in quilting.
Pat is survived by her brothers: Dennis (Pat) Kumm of Brandon, SD, Donald Kumm and his special friend, Deb Swenson, of Sioux Falls, SD, and Mike (Linda) Kumm of Hutchinson, MN; one sister, Linda (Ron) Stern, of Henry, SD; her step-dad, Merlyn Gotsch; three step-sisters, Debbie, Charlene and Tammy; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved pets.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her mother and father.
