Roger Ziebarth Obituary
Roger D. Ziebarth, age 59, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019, at a local care facility.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown.
Pastor Scott Dempster will officiate.
The family is requested to meet at the chapel by 10:00 a.m. for a prayer service. Visitation will take place prior to services at the chapel on Wednesday beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Sisseton City Cemetery in Sisseton, SD.
Roger was born on May 4, 1960, in Sisseton, SD, to Lawrence "Pat" and Dorothy (Wyman) Ziebarth.
He grew up in a group home and always wore a smile.
Even on the worst of days, Roger maintained a positive attitude.
He loved looking up into the sky in search of the moon. Roger had a great love for watching airplanes, and enjoyed sitting on the swing in the sunshine. Roger is survived by his brothers: Lawrence Jr. Ziebarth of Sisseton, SD, Wayne (Patricia) Ziebarth of New Effington, SD, Gregory (Deborah) Ziebarth of Aberdeen, SD, and Jeffery (Joan) Ziebarth of Vancouver, WA; and his sister, Tammy (David) Tichinel of Page, AZ. Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Dorothy, and his brother, Alvin Ziebarth.
