Tammy G. (Mrs. Jeff) Weber, age 58, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at the hospital in Sioux Falls, SD after battling kidney disease for 30 plus years. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 30, 2019, at Cornerstone United Methodist Church. Pastor Luke Smith will officiate. The family is requested to meet at the church by 10:30 a.m. on Monday for a family prayer service. Visitation will be at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel on Sunday from 4-6 p.m. and also prior to the service at the church on Monday. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Linda Samuelson and Theresa Kenyon. Active pallbearers will be Tammy's grandchildren: Devon Isler, Jayda Weber, Jenna Weber, Rihanna Marzolf and Jaelynn Weber. Tammy was born on November 12, 1960, to Paul and Shirley (Currey) Grothe, in Benson, MN. She was a 1979 graduate from Benson High School and a 1980 graduate from Ridge Water College in Willmar, MN. On July 12, 1983, Tammy was united in marriage to Jeff Weber in Winthrop, MN. The couple lived in Spicer, MN, where Tammy worked as a baker/chef in various restaurants. They moved to the Florence/Watertown area in July of 1994 and she started working for Jenkins Living Center as a baker in the dietary program. Her health forced her to retire after working there for 17 years. They continued living in Watertown where she enjoyed her flower garden. Tammy loved to play Tetras and Candy Crush, Pac-Man, baking and decorating her home for the holidays. She had a special way for helping people. Her most special times were spent with her family.
Tammy is survived by her husband, Jeff, of Watertown, SD; her children, Nathan (Michele) Weber and Krystal Weber (Nick Taylor), all of Watertown, SD, five grandchildren: Devon Isler, Jayda Weber, Jenna Weber, Rihanna Marzolf and Jaelynn Weber; her mother, Shirley Grothe of Benson, MN; and her sisters: Becky (Norman) Hoffman of Holloway, MN, Faye (Greg) Gunderson of Benson, MN, and Nita Unke of Benson, MN. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul; her sister, Eileen Glimsdal; and her in-laws, Bob and Kate Weber and her beloved dog, Bentley BooBoo.
