Velma E. Pownell

We enjoyed visiting with Velma every Wed.in the summer time, when we were mowing the lot next to hers. We were able to catch up on her family activities as well as ours. If we saw the brick in front of her cabin door, we knew she was not there, otherwise, she was looking out her door and waiting for our visit. What a way to spend her last summer at the place she loved! We will miss that big smile and warm heart of hers. Rest in peace dear friend.

So sorry to hear of Velma's passing. She was a sweetheart and loved by many people.

Too all of Velmas family my deepest sympathy, Velma was a loving soul, i got too know her gentle kindness when i moved with my parents too Wolsey she welcomed me to their home with a smile and a hug.. God bless and kepp you all at this sad time. Hugs Arlys Bader.
