Anna Mae married Lawrence Dubbeldee on November 9, 1946 and the couple farmed by Arco. To this union 3 children were born: Helen, Dennis and Cindy. Lawrence died from heart disease September 9, 1965. Later she met Peter Holm and married on October 15, 1966. They continued to farm in the Arco community. During these years Anna Mae worked a variety of jobs, starting work at the young age 15 working the Grocery/hardware store, The Chat n Chew, Coffee Cup Café, and Brick Manor. She also worked many years at the Tyler Nursing Home, volunteered for Hospice, delivered Meals on Wheels, and was very active in the local Senior Center in Tyler. Pete died from heart disease on December 27, 2001. Anna Mae later moved to Danebod Village. While there, to pass time, she worked as a night watchman. Anna Mae moved to Sunchase in Watertown, SD on April 15, 2009. On August 6, 2013 there was a fire at Sunchase and she temporarily lived with Cindy for a couple months until she moved to Benet Place in October 2013. Anna Mae had an opportunity to move closer to Cindy and moved to Edgewood Place October 2016. This is where she enjoyed playing Bingo, puzzles, cards of all kinds, and especially Pinnacle. She met many new friends while living in Watertown. Some of Anna Mae’s hobbies were crocheting afghans for each grandchild for their graduation, sewing and the love she had for gardening and flowers. She had the greenest thumb!!! The best quality she possessed was being a caregiver to family and friends.

Anna Mae lived at Edgewood until her passing on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. She had reached the age of 95, 1 month, and 20 days.
