Jimmy "Jim" Tulowetzke

Jimmy "Jim" Tulowetzke, age 70, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Avera Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.  Funeral Services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Father John Fischer will be the celebrant.  The family is requested to meet at the chapel on Friday by 1:00 p.m. for a prayer service.  

Visitation will be at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Friday prior to the service.

Burial will be at a later date.

Jim was born on May 27, 1953, in Watertown, SD, to Hubert and Betty (Horton) Tulowetzke. He attended Watertown High School and entered the United States Army.

On May 27, 1988, Jim married Kathy Keeble.  After leaving the Army Jim went to work at Dakota Poultry in Watertown.  He then moved to Waubay, SD. Jim started working at Gregerson Construction until his health forced him to retire.

He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Watertown. He enjoyed his western movies, WWE wrestling, attending bible study, visiting, loved his candy and when younger hunting and fishing.

Jim is survived by his mother, Betty Tulowetzke; one son, Talon Tulowetzke, Waubay, SD; one stepson, Eli Buckelk, Waubay, SD; one stepdaughter, Leslie Buckelk, Waubay, SD; three brothers, Gene (Julie) Tulowetzke, Watertown, SD, Delton (Karen) Tulowetzke, Watertown, SD, Mike (Janet) Tulowetzke, Watertown, SD; two sisters, Marlene Bitz (Denny Moyer) Watertown, SD, Mary (Steve) Dunn, Sturgis, SD.

Jim was preceded in death by one stepson, Louis Buckelk; wife Kathy; two sisters and father Hubert Tulowetzke.
