Natali Reu Obituary

Natali Charisse Berlin Reu, age 14, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Prairie Lakes Health Care Center. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Watertown, SD. Pastor Iver Possehl will officiate. Music will be provided by Maze Snittjer as the organist. The family is requested to meet at the church on Wednesday by 12:30 p.m. for a prayer service. The service will be Live-Streamed via the Crawford-Osthus Facebook page and the church's website.

Visitation will be at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown, SD, on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, from 4-7 p.m.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Riley Schaffer and all of her friends and cousins. Active pallbearers will be: Joshua Fox, Preston Fox, Christina Schaffer, Derek Tillett, Spencer Stock, and Conner Holliday.

Natali Charisse Berlin Reu, was born on June 6, 2006, in Sioux Falls to Anthony Reu and Debra Blumeyer. She lived in Sioux Falls and attended school there until 2010, when Deb, Zach and Natali moved to Estelline, SD. They lived there until 2014, when they moved to Watertown, SD, with her step-dad, Doug Pahl, who Natali loved very much. Natali had just completed her freshman year at Watertown Senior High School. She participated in choir, art, and accelerated classes. She also played trumpet in the WHS Band, and was a member of the Lego League, tennis team and studied German.

Natali worked at McDonalds and also loved to babysit, the kids loved her. She had a passion for photography. She was also very artistic in drawing, painting, and writing, having received many awards for her essays. Natali loved her puppies and her friends. She cared so much about other people that she chose to extend life to others through her gift of organ donation.

Natali is survived by her mother and step-father, Debra and Doug Pahl, of Watertown, SD; her father, Anthoney Reu, of Watertown, SD; her brothers, Matthew Reu, of Vermillion, SD, Kiesen Pahl (Melinda Stauffacher) of Tyler, MN, and Zachary Blumeyer, of Watertown, SD; her sister, Nicole Schnabel, of Sioux Falls, SD; grandparents, Dee Blumeyer, of Watertown, SD, Lynn Reu, of Bever Creek, MN, and Loriane Pahl, of Ellendale, ND; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandpas, Mike Blumeyer, Donald Reu, and Clifford Pahl; and her cousin, Mara Worthington.
