Roylene K DeVille

Roylene K. DeVille, age 78, of Watertown, SD, left this world peacefully on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Jenkins Living Center.  Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kranzburg. Father Richard Fox will officiate. Music will be provided by Eileen Lindner as organist with Leroy Mack as soloist.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.

Burial will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Kranzburg. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Rillo, Isaac, Rillo, Nicole Rillo and Chandler Rillo. 

Roylene was born May 9th, 1944 to LeRoy and Dolores Bonn in Seattle Washington.  She attended high school and graduated from Webster S.D. She met her life long partner Dennis DeVille in 1972.  They spent the first half of their life together, living in Yuma Arizona and Cortez Colorado.  For the last 26 years Watertown has been her home.

Roylene was an exceptionally kind and loving individual.  She had a tender heart and compassion for animals.  If she wasn’t golfing with her friends, you would often see her sitting in her sun porch.  She would listen to the tranquil sound of water that was provided  by the pond right outside the porch windows. It was the kind of ambiance she appreciated while she spent time on her iPad or reading a book.

Roylene is survived by her husband Dennis of Watertown SD; children: Randy Marx Minneapolis MN; wife to his children Linda Marx Mankato MN; Billie Rillo (Art) Granite Falls MN; grandsons: Isaac (Kate) Chandler, Ben; granddaughter's:  Taylor (Ace),Breanna and Nicole; great grandsons: Julius and Lincoln.
