Marlys was born on July 19, 1950, in Britton, SD, to Lloyd and Lillian (Stolsmark) Morehouse.  She graduated from Bristol High School in 1968.

On July 5, 1975, Marlys married Keith Enstad in Pierpont, SD. She was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, the American Legion Auxiliary and an active member of the Watertown Wrestling Booster Club. Marlys liked to attend the boys’ wrestling events and enjoyed reading, listening to music and camping. She loved cooking and baking and especially loved her “own” cheesecake and lefse making.
