She was known as Jorgie by some and Jorgan by others. She spent 16 months with the Fogarty’s and the rest of the time with her mom and Jesus. Loved by all.
We all agree that Jorgan was amazing and agree with Jon Fogarty’s following description of her.
We knew her as the sweetest, warmest soul of a little sister, daughter, friend and hugger that we may ever know. She shined very warm light into our lives. Knowing and loving Jorgie, is one of the greatest pleasures we will ever experience. God created a special, extraordinary soul in her and she Blessed us everyday with her wonderful giving love. Anyone, anywhere that caught her eye was warmed with her outgoing and overflowing personality. She broke the ice with so many people that we did not know or had ever met by just going up to them and touching their hand or jumping on their lap. There were also many grandmothers that she warmed with a smile leaving their cups instantly and warmly filled with a twinkle in her eye. Most of our friends stopped by just to visit her and fill their cup with her beaming love and good nature. It seemed like our extended church and school families would almost line up to greet her or hug her and have their hearts warmed by her. Jorgie came to know our beautiful community and was Blessed by their warm outpouring of love and she responded by giving it all back and then some. What an awesome soul she is.
Jorgie had the most infectious laugh and wild expressions that caused anyone around her to instantly grab a camera to capture the fun. And she loved it too, often begging to see the phone videos she starred in and she loved them. Our cat, Tommy, was her Nom Nom. Jorgie insisted on going out to do chores every single morning, riding in her stroller and she liked to be parked in a place where she could see everything happen. What an awesome creation she is.
She was one of those warm spirited souls that, if you knew her she cannot be forgotten. The mention of her name to a person familiar to her will cause a twinkle in their eye, a happy tear, or possibly a lump in their throat and then they will happily rejoice in their thoughts knowing that only God could create something that warm and special. What an awesome spirit she is.
